If you've been keeping track of my blog then you will have seen that I am still alive and kicking, and posting art I don't post scraps here very often, but I do have sketches that I'm working on for some projects that I put into my blog.

Anyhoot. Just wanted to update this and get rid of the older works in progress from the front page, especially since I've finally completed some of my older commissions!

I'm still not taking any additional commissions because I'm STILL not done all of them.. Yeah I know, I'm slow! But a lot of them were like the last one that I just uploaded, full background paintings. Not to mention the Stanley Brambles project which I do about 4 shaded sketches a week of x_x that's been keeping me *real* busy.

Anyway that's all for now.. I really want to customize this journal skin since I had to re-purchase this year's deviantart subscription, but eh I'm just too lazy. Maybe I'll do it before Christmas, maybe I won't

So it's been a while since I've upated my site.. and I thought it would be best if i just gave my new blog link out instead! My site will soon be put on hiatus as I work out a new layout for it in Flash. I post everything in the blog, posts of what I'm drawing, cooking, or just doing for fun. Well kiddos, I updated my site yesterday! So check out some new arts that I haven't posted here yet, mostly because I am lazy. You heard me. l-a-z-y. I did upload one though, the tree thinger. which will come in handy in the future. but yeah. go look.

Other than that, things are progressing slowly.. I'm still in the midst of a move, but have been spending most of my time cleaning out my old place. Today I do the floors and bathroom! WOO! Hopefully I will be in a new home with my other half ~xacid in a couple of weeks once we finally move all of our STUFF.

So I am way overdue for a new website layout. I'm thinking of making something completely different than before, maybe in Flash, but not the usual menu-blogstyle-gallery site. COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!.. I don't know how.. but I'll somehow figure out a way. Just you wait and see. I can't wait to get my new compuuuuuter *_* I've been uploading and updating things from various family member's computers, none of which have sai or photoshop or ANYthing that's useful to me to make art, haha. I totally edited all my latest artwork in MSpaint. You can kind of tell by the URL. Oh wells. Whatever works!

More later, hopefully.. I also have to eventually make a fancy skin for this journal..... hmmmm!

So work is pretty much done! I will soon be saying all my goodbyes and wishing my coworkers well. It was a great haul, and myabe someday I will work there again. But in the meantime, it means that I have some time to work on my commissions! Long awaited, for sure. I have a pile that just isn't shrinking any. And before I start on personal artwork, I feel obligated to finish those ones first. So here goes! Wish me luck

SIGGRAPH was awesome! Even though I didn't get much time to actually look around or anything, I met a lot of new people and learned a lot about managing them, too. I think being a team leader there is more about learning to manage your time, people, and get the job done in a team than anything else. I did get to see a lot of my venue, and I took some time out on one of the days to check out the E-tech exhibits which were all pretty cool. I was mostly around the art gallery the whole time. There were some pretty cool pieces - some of which I had actually seen in Montreal when I was at school! I also got to talk to the artists which was neat

The only thing that stinks is that about mid week, we all caught some kind of nasty cold. And by 'we', I mean all of the team leaders. At first I thought it was just a cough that was brought on by hanging out outside and people smoking (which may have triggered it) but then it turned into overwhelming fatigue by Friday and I just felt absolutely terrible I'm still suffering the effects of the cold - severe coughing, runny nose and whatnot, and achy everywhere.. I'm hoping it's not H1N1 or anything. I got home on Saturday and drove home, and then all day yesterday I spent in my pyjamas and just wandering around in slippers, and then went to bed at 7PM! hah!

I'm still super tired.. but I'll have to snap out of it because I have so much stuff to move I also have to get rid of a lot of things. So much stuff to move, and so little room to put it all. I need to figure out what I really need and what I don't really need. Sigh. We get so attached to our material possessions. I wish I could just live off of a handful of things and not have to worry about carrying so much around when I move.

Anyway I think that's about it. I can't wait until I can go to my cottage and just.. draw.
