Kina's Journal

Hello Everyone!

First of all, a huge thank you to everyone who participated in my Poll about my website issues regarding having a personal site and/or a portfolio site. I really appreciate every single one of your thoughtful comments and feedback and have taken them all into serious consideration.

Normally I come out with a new Kina-Ink layout every year. This year has been a little slow because of the fact that it is my last year of University and a little hectic. I also moved out on my own for the first time this year, so new and different responsibilities have made themselves apparent.

I wanted to share with you what the my new site will look like! I have been working on it for several months, now. I went through several designs, and some of you may have seen the previous versions of this dark blue cloud version, but this is probably what it will look like in its most finished stages.



Details:
- I used photoshop for all images. I always make my layouts 100% in photoshop before I start coding
- coding consists of 90% HTML with CSS coding, and some very very basic PHP (just include codes)
- Some basic java script for the rollovers and dropdown menus
- the site will contain all of my current, and past artwork thanks to some PHP gallery scripts and java. yay!
- anticipated release: End of semester (April-May 2008)

Any comments or contructive criticisms are very welcome, seeing as I am still in developmental stages.

I would also like to know what you would want from me in a site. What kind of tutorials? Different kinds of downloads? Extras of any kind that I have not thought of?

I am now open for commissions full-time once more! After a colossal cell phone bill, unexpected school fees and a raised heating bill, I am in somewhat of a desperate situation.

One character or $20 extra per additional character

As always, note or e-mail me if you're interested. Some of you might be wondering why I raised the prices; it's because the bust commissions were actually taking much longer than originally anticipated. I was basically working for under $5 an hour on them, haha.. I hope you understand!
